Wouter Paap Free Sheet Music
Wouter Paap (Utrecht, May 7, 1908 - Lage Vuursche, October 7, 1981) was a Dutch music publicist and composer.
Paap attended the Jan van Nassau Kweekschool and completed this training in 1927, but he never worked as a teacher. From 1928 to 1932 he took piano lessons at the Toonkunst Muziekschool (later the Utrecht Conservatory) with Hester Wegerif and Lucie Veerman-Bekker. He established himself as a music educator in Utrecht. There he was a teacher at the R.K. Church Music School and the New Music School. His activities in music journalism became even more important. In the 1930s he contributed to many newspapers, sometimes writing five reviews of the same concert, each adapted to the signature of the newspaper concerned and yet with the same purport. He was also the music collaborator of the Catholic magazine De Community, especially about church music.
